As a Lyme sufferer I, like many others try everything to relieve the pain of Fibromyalga and Rhuematoid Arthrites and so many other things associated with Chronic Lyme...I am one of the fortunate ones who has a LLD who is open to all kinds of remedies may they be from Western medicine or Eastern Medicine that have been used from ancient time and becoming more popular now.
In the many years I have done all varieties of toxic cleansing and most work wonders, getting RainDrop massages are another wonderful way of releasing toxins in the body. I have had Lymphatic massages (and are so necessary for my particular needs) that we purchased a massage table and Jim has learned to do them for me. Eating right is a NECESSITY! Even if you aren't losing weight because of other underlying problems, eating right (for you) is key to success. We also have in our home, an entire water purification system as to eliminate all minerals, chemicals, etc. that are in regular drinking water and even "that" bottled water everyone is drinking. Yes, it is expensive to have installed, but the benefits out number the risks greatly.

There are several things people may think of as "old wives tales" but I am here to tell you and list for you those I know of that for whatever reason do work, and my Doctor has said these still amaze her, but if they work why not give them a try.........a few of these have been mentioned in newspaper & magazine articles lately.

if you have restless leg symdrome.........put a bar of pure soap (ie Ivory) between your matress & bottm sheet

if you suffer frim IBS.......rub a little CasterOil on your tummy (works the same as taking internally)

if you get headaches..... a little Pepperment Essential Oil on the temples and back of your neck

if you get a mosquito bite....a dab of alcohol (No, not Vodka) will relieve the itch immediatly

if you have aches & pains....a hot bath in Epsom Salt &/or Baking Soda..........
if the aches & pains are extreme....add at least a quart of Hydrogen Peroxide to the hot water in your
bath and soak for as long as you can stand the hot water. (I use this when Fibro is REAL bad)

if you suffer from inflamation of the joints.....a natural relief most people know is Green Tea, but if you
put a little Ginger in the Green Tea it aids in relief even more. Also, if you just drink a cup of hot Ginger water each morning right after getting up it actually can be a preventative. One can buy Green Tea with Ginger in the "health" section of most supermarkets today.

if you want to ward of all kinds of insects a good tool is rubbing a dryer sheet on your clothes, or on the golf course, put one in your pocket.......if you prefer a natural bug spray (without Deet) combine Eucalyptis oil and lemon juice in a spray bottle)then shake & spray. If you are going into the woods
add a bit of honey and this combo (MAY) even keep the TICKS away.

Lastly, your mail carrier will love you if you put a dryer sheet in your mailbox.....this DOES keep the BEES away!!!!!

Dr, Moyer, I send this to you because these help me and others that I know...nothing here is harmful
as you can see, so therefore; most can be used be anyone/everyone....I'm no kind of a doctor, as you know, but these simple remidies are things most folk have in the house, and as my physician says...why not try, even if they sound crazy, if they ork GREAT..if they don't (for you) then nothing has been lost.

We all try to keep our intake of prescription meds. down and things like these mentioned above, and many varied supplements (only after checking w/a doctor) are wonderful aids to good health and relief from diseases and pain, that can not be cured.

Looking forward to seeing you...(possibly in May???)

I am recovering from an accident so I began weight lifting to strengthen my muscles. I was struggling with back and joint problems so began going to chiropractic care. The chiropractor has helped me with my pain which has in turn improved my ability to weight lift. I’d recommend chiropractic care to anyone.

Dr. Randy Moyer

This particular article is exactly the rules I live by. I try telling every person I know..Don't eat anything from a box or a can ....anything packaged at all! The preservaties alone can kill you. Eat Fresh & Organic! Now I also must eat Gluten Free..you know what...it's pretty easy and really healthy, even if you don't have a gluclose intolerence.
Must add another thought...Lymphatic massage is fantastic! Wish we were a little closer to Denver!

It's rare to come across an expert in whom you may have some faith. In the world of today, nobody truly cares about showing others exactly how in this issue. How happy I am to have definitely found a wonderful blog as this. It's people like you exactly who make a real difference in this world through the thoughts they discuss.

Interesting material, thanks. I would just to point out that even the Mayo clinic says that moderate exercise while pregnant can be great for you.
