Closed for Coronavirus
*UPDATE 4/11: Moyer Total Wellness is currently closed through at least April 26 for Chiropractic and Acupuncture and April 30 for Massage Therapy as instructed by DORA. We will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments as necessary. We are still available for phone consultations so please use the contact information below to reach out to us with any questions you may have. Please follow us on social media for the most up-to-date information.
At MTW, we realize that “hitting the pause button” on life is creating many hardships for friends, family, and communities. our hope is that through this hardship we are able to come together as a community, recognize how much we depend on one another, refocus on what is truly important in life, and come out of this stronger and more connected than before.
Following CDC guidelines in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we have decided to close the office at 7:00 pm tonight, Thursday March 19, 2020, to non-urgent appointment requests. We are tentatively closing until April 1, 2020 (update 3/27: we hope to re-open April 15 for Chiropractic and Acupuncture and May 1 for Massage Therapy), however, we will continue to monitor the situation and re-evaluate on an ongoing basis.
As healthcare providers, it is extremely difficult to know how to best serve our patients at this time. We are not on the front lines fighting the infection or directly treating patients with the symptoms of COVID-19. However, the services we provide on a daily basis have the ability to reduce emergency room visits.
We will continue to see patients on an urgent basis only (UPDATE 3/27: we are no longer able to treat patients until 4/15 at the earliest but remain available for phone consultations). Please use the contact information below if you are experiencing severe pain. We will be available for scheduled in-office visits, phone consults, and potentially even house calls. Here is a quick list of cases that we can see as an alternative to going to the ER:
- Intolerable neck or back pain
- Radiating pain down an arm or leg
- Car accidents
- Unrelenting headache
- Severely sprained joints
As always, if you think you may be sick, please start with a phone consultation or simply an email. If you have questions on health and wellness in general, such as effective strategies on boosting your immune system, please contact Randy Moyer, DC.
If you are a Monthly Member, your automatic payments have been suspended and will not be resumed until we are open again. All appointments through April 1 have been cancelled.
We will continue to answer phones and check voicemail and email sent to the office. We’ll continue to update our clients through email and social media. We are all in this together.
