Dr. Randy Moyer, Chiropractor, is a Colorado Board Certified Chiropractic Doctor graduation summa cum laude and valedictorian from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 2006. Dr. Moyer specializes in treating postural disorders that cause moderate to sever pain such as back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain and headaches.

Moyer Total Wellness opened in 2009 with the goal of helping people improve their performance with as few office visits as possible. Dr. Moyer is known for prescribing strength training to prevent pain.

Dr. Moyer uses a 4 Step evidence based approach for treating musculo-skeletal pain. These 4 Steps were developed from guidelines published by the American Medical Association. Dr. Moyer’s healthcare philosophy is that conservative care like this should be prioritized over prescriptions and surgical procedures.

Dr. Moyer is also a volunteer spokesman for the American Heart Association, most recently appearing on Fox 31 News and 9 News providing information regarding the AHA’s Family Health Challenge. Most notably, Dr. Moyer provided medical testimony to the Colorado State Senate regarding removing Trans-Fats from Colorado Schools. Dr. Moyer’s testimony was pivotal in getting Senate Bill 68 passed.

When not in the office, Randy enjoys spending time with his family. His wife, Tara, works for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. They have two teenage daughters Dylan and Brooklyn, who play soccer, basketball, cross country, and volleyball when not hanging out with their friends. Randy also competes in professional bass fishing tournaments and is an active member of the Denver Bass Masters and has qualified for the Bass Nation State Fishing Team twice.

Liz Edelman, Licensed Massage Therapist

Liz Edelman – Certified Rolfer, Massage Therapist, & Personal Trainer

Hi! I’m Liz Edelman, certified Rolfer®, licensed massage therapist, energy healing practitioner and certified personal trainer!

I am passionate about the body when it comes to health and (pain-free) movement. My interest in the body developed with a late introduction to sports and fitness in my 20s and 30s through running, kettlebell lifting and Olympic weightlifting. What started as a fitness journey led to a desire to share my love of movement with others and starting in 2016 I began instructing and coaching at Colorado Weightlifting Club.

My experience with fitness showed me the potential we have in maintaining or improving health by combining movement and care of the body such as proper nutrition, sleep, stress reduction and bodywork (i.e. Chiropractic, Rolfing® and massage).

I believe maintaining our health often necessitates regular visits with a body work professional – whether that be for pain relief, posture/alignment, stress relief, and sports performance and recovery. I provide clinical, sports, cupping and deep tissue massage therapy combined with my movement background to help you find wellness in your body so you can reach your health goals.

By drawing on my extensive training and experience, I will design a customized session tailored to your specific circumstances and needs. Long-term results often take more than one session and “homework” on the part of the client – but are achievable.

I grew up in the Western Chicago suburbs but spent most of my adult life in other states including 10 years in Seattle. I have a great love of the outdoors and since I moved to Denver in 2016 have found it even easier to get a daily dose of sunshine and fresh air. In my free time I like to weight-lift, hike, bike, walk my dog, garden, cook, craft and spend time with friends and family.

Jennie Smith, Licensed Acupuncturist

Jennie Smith - Licensed Acupuncturist

Jennie’s passion and expertise in pain management and acupuncture stems from a rich history of preventative health care and an understanding that whole health is a journey that must include the mind and body for sustained relief.

After graduating from CSU in 2005 Jennie spent the next seven years farming in Fort Collins and the western slope. Specializing in diverse market gardening she saw parallels between biodynamic farming and traditional Chinese medicine. The idea that there are signs of imbalance before disease sets in was thought provoking. Creating connections with weekly customers at the farmers’ market, encouraging cooking of seasonal farm fare sowed into Jennie a lifelong passion for preventative medicine. She helped create a now flourishing non-profit in Fort Collins which brings public food gardens to the people along with education in food security for all community members (thegrowingproject.org).

Wanting to continue helping on a deeper level, she attended school at CSTCM and received her acupuncture degree. As a practitioner she specializes in musculoskeletal disorders, sleep issues and migraines.  For the past couple years Jennie has been treating people in a community clinic setting seeing thousands of patients and fine tuning her skill set.

Emily Arnold, LMT

Emily Arnold – Massage Therapist

Welcome! My name is Emily Arnold, a licensed massage therapist, and I am thrilled to be working within the amazing team at Moyer Total Wellness.

I hold a bachelor’s in Spanish & Intercultural Studies, but it wasn’t until attending the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy that I knew I was doing what I’m supposed to do.

The human body is an astounding self-tuning instrument and my goal is for people to achieve homeostatic balance through:

  • Stress Regulation
  • Mindful Posture
  • Health Education
  • Internal Touch

I have also received continuing education in the John Barnes approach for Myofascial Release (MFR). This gentle technique to releasing restrictions in the fascia has been a missing piece in the puzzle, so to speak. Fascia, like muscles, can become tight, stiff, and dehydrated. MFR is a holistic therapy that addresses the entire fascial network, recognizes that symptoms can arise farther down the chain of dysfunction, and treats the whole body, not just the symptoms.

Veronica Balderas, LMT bio picture

Veronica Balderas – Massage Therapist

Hello! My name is Veronica and I have lived in Denver for 12 years now. I have some clinical background as a Certified Nurses Assistant for 2 years before becoming a massage therapist.  I have been practicing massage therapy since 2009. I graduated from Utah College of Massage Therapy.

While at school there was an interesting phrase I learned “where pain is, it isn’t”. Meaning that where you feel pain it might not be the only place and origin of that pain. The body is complex and fascinating and I look forward to helping you heal, whatever that means for you.

I have experience with all kinds of people, from working with those that have chronic pain to people that just want a nice relaxing massage with lots of feet and head rubs. I am able to use a combination of techniques to bring you relief.  I have always been fascinated with human anatomy and physiology, everyone is different, and I am look forward to finding a cause to your issue and help treat you on your path to wellness.

Heather DeWitt – Massage Therapist

Hi, I’m Heather DeWitt, LMT. Born and raised in Colorado, I’ve always had a flair for the arts. Out of high school I attended the Colorado Institute of Art where I graduated with an Associates of Applied Sciences degree in Graphic Design. I also hold a diploma from Platt College in Electronic Prepress and Computer Graphics. My training as an artist proved to be lucrative, landing a job with Denver’s largest newspaper, The Denver Post, but after four short years, I found myself struggling with being just another cog in the wheel of big business. I desperately needed a change.

In 2001 I left the crazy world of newspaper politics behind to enjoy a more quiet existence, making the decision to attend The Center of Advanced Therapeutics 600 Hour Soft Tissue program, in Denver, where I graduated in October 2003 and began my career as a Massage Therapist, working for myself within a small gym in the Greenwood Village area. In essence, I traded one art form for another. Since then I have worked everywhere from personal training studios and spa settings to chiropractic and physical therapy offices. I am so proud and extremely honored to now be a part of Moyer Total Wellness!

Massage has kept me very busy over the past 15 years. It has been a true road to self-discovery, on so many levels. It has opened my eyes to the reality that the human body is one amazing machine and has motivated me to want to help everyone achieve optimum health through natural healing. Complimenting my massage practice, I attended courses taught by a local Denver herbalist in 2011. Intrigued by my training in the art of iridology and the study of holistic nutrition, I have adopted a new relationship with food as well as mind-body wellness. It has lead me to the daily practice of yoga and meditation, allowing me to drastically reprogram my own life.

In my spare time, you’ll find me outdoors as much as possible hiking a 14-er, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, traveling the world, and I am an avid reader of any, and all, books regarding the human body, mind and soul. I look forward to crossing off a “bucket list” trip to Peru, in the near future, to engage with Native American healers who heal the body through the use of plant-based medicines, spiritual practices and ancient healing traditions. This is the type of healer I aspire to be.

Making the decision to pursue bodywork as a career has made a wonderful difference in my life. Touch therapy has proven to be a very rewarding and fulfilling experience. I hope to pass along my knowledge and great appreciation of the human form to all of you; hoping that you, too, will make the conscious decision to take care of what’s most important, yet so often overlooked – ourselves.

Jessica Dominguez, LMT

Jessica Dominguez – Massage Therapist

My name is Jessica Dominguez, and I am an intuitive manual therapist.  I am in awe of the body and its incredible way to support, protect, and transform itself.  As an intuitive manual therapist, I love the work that I perform because when I work with the body: it is a language that wants to be understood and it has an eloquent yet complex way of telling a story.  It is a 1000-piece puzzle that wants to be solved.

Massage has the power to transform our lives because touch is one of our primary senses; it is one of the ways the body receives information from the world.   It is my job as an intuitive manual therapist to remind the body that touch is nurturing, supportive, and safe to receive. I specialize in trauma-informed bodywork as the body holds energetic memories that can be stored within its intricate system.  I specialize in Deep Tissue massage (intentionally slow bodywork), Sports Massage (performance focused with stretching), and Myofascial release.  Each session has its own customizable flow to your unique needs and goals.  Massage-work is collaborative work and long-lasting results can be achievable in and outside the massage room.

I look forward to working with those ready to up-level their performance, strengthen the rest & digest state (the parasympathetic nervous system), and most importantly want to feel and be their best.

Scott Pridgen – Massage Therapist

My name is Scott Pridgen, the human body is a beautiful thing. I am fascinated with how the human body functions, moves, and what we are capable of. This passion is what has gotten me into learning and practicing many modalities of massage as well as yoga, rock climbing, dance, and the ways we move in every day life.
