Danelle Wesley, DC – Doctor of Chiropractic and Soft Tissue Mobilization Specialist

Dr. Danelle Wesley, “Dr. D,” grew up in eastern Wisconsin and moved to Saint Paul, Minnesota to complete her undergraduate degree from the University of MN – Twin Cities. After earning her Bachelor of Science-Kinesiology degree, she began to pursue her lifelong passion of becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. She graduated cum laude at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN in 2014. Dr. D and her family moved to Littleton, CO in early May 2014. When she isn’t practicing she enjoys spending time in the mountains hiking, snowboarding and exploring with her husband and her maltese-poodle pup named Brody.

Dr. D has experience working with people of all ages, from 2 weeks to 90+ years old. She has a passion for working with athletes of all calibers and all sports. Dr. D is well practiced in correcting and eliminating neck pain, headaches, upper back pain, lower back pain, as well as extremity pain. She specializes in manual muscle release therapy, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), and works to correct spinal imbalances directly through manual spinal manipulation (adjustments), as well as indirectly through specific muscular release and re-education. Brooke Holmes - Acupuncturist & Massage Therapist

Hi! My name is Brooke, and I’m an Acupuncturist, Herbalist, and Massage Therapist here at Moyer Total Wellness. I’m excited you’re here, because it means you’re ready for change. I am here to guide you through that process.

I have a deep passion for natural, holistic approaches to health, that are effective and preventative. Some of the tools we are able to use to accomplish this are:

  • Acupuncture
  • Dry needling
  • Massage Therapy (deep tissue and trigger point therapy)
  • Herbal Medicine
  • Cupping
  • GuaSha
  • Nutritional Counseling

From chronic pain, anxiety and depression, to IBS, headaches, and the common cold, the body is intimately connected from head to toe… this is why I focus on you as a WHOLE individual when developing a treatment plan for your healing process.

I specialize in the treatment of:

  • Pain
  • Chronic Stress
  • Anxiety and Depression
  • Digestive Disorders (such as bloating, gas, acid reflux, IBS, diarrhea, constipation…)
  • Sports Injuries

Most often the conditions listed above are experienced together. From unrelenting stress at work, to diets full of processed foods, it is no wonder many are suffering from poor digestion, chronic pain, and debilitating anxiety and depression. The health of our digestive system is deeply connected to our mental and emotional wellbeing. I work hard with my patients to get them back to the best version of themselves so they can live a life they love!

Being an athlete myself, I understand the importance of maintaining regular physical activity. Injuries and pain keep us off the mountain, out of the gym, and leave us feeling sluggish and depressed. I love working with acute and chronic pain and injuries to get people back to living their active Colorado lifestyle.

I earned my BS in Biology from San Diego State University, and my Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine degree from Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In addition, I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2014.

Having lived in Arizona, California, and Colorado and feel deeply connected to the desert, ocean, and mountains. I try to spend most of my time outdoors, camping, hiking, and road tripping with my love Ricky and our Maltipoo Drake. Food is a TOP priority in our house, so grocery shopping, cooking, and eating delicious meals is where a good chunk of our time is spent!

If you’re curious if Acupuncture, dry needling, herbal medicine, or any of the other mentioned modalities can help you with your health concerns, book a free consultation with me on the phone or in person! Don’t waste another day… Let’s get you back to feeling your best!

Heather DeWitt – Massage Therapist

Hi, I’m Heather DeWitt, LMT. Born and raised in Colorado, I’ve always had a flair for the arts. Out of high school I attended the Colorado Institute of Art where I graduated with an Associates of Applied Sciences degree in Graphic Design. I also hold a diploma from Platt College in Electronic Prepress and Computer Graphics. My training as an artist proved to be lucrative, landing a job with Denver’s largest newspaper, The Denver Post, but after four short years I found myself struggling with being just another cog in the wheel of big business. I desperately needed a change.

In 2001 I left the crazy world of newspaper politics behind to enjoy a more quiet existence, making the decision to attend The Center of Advanced Therapeutics 600 Hour Soft Tissue program, in Denver, where I graduated in October 2003 and began my career as a Massage Therapist, working for myself within a small gym in the Greenwood Village area. In essence, I traded one art form for another. Since then I have worked everywhere from personal training studios and spa settings to chiropractic and physical therapy offices. I am so proud and extremely honored to now be a part of Moyer Total Wellness!

Massage has kept me very busy over the past 15 years. It has been a true road to self discovery, on so many levels. It has opened my eyes to the reality that the human body is one amazing machine and has motivated me to want to help everyone achieve optimum health through natural healing. Complimenting my massage practice, I attended courses taught by a local Denver herbalist in 2011. Intrigued by my training in the art of iridology and the study of holistic nutrition, I have adopted a new relationship with food as well as mind-body wellness. It has lead me to the daily practice of yoga and meditation, allowing me to drastically reprogram my own life.

In my spare time you’ll find me outdoors as much as possible hiking a 14-er, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, traveling the world, and I am an avid reader of any, and all, books regarding the human body, mind and soul. I look forward to crossing off a “bucket list” trip to Peru, in the near future, to engage with Native American healers who heal the body through the use of plant based medicines, spiritual practices and ancient healing traditions. This is the type of healer I aspire to be.

Making the decision to pursue bodywork as a career has made a wonderful difference in my life. Touch therapy has proven to be a very rewarding and fulfilling experience. I hope to pass along my knowledge and great appreciation of the human form to all of you; hoping that you, too, will make the conscious decision to take care of what’s most important, yet so often overlooked – ourselves.

Tamara Hayward – Massage Therapist
Since I was a little girl, I found joy in helping others. Born in Denver, Colorado I am the first born to a true humanitarian. My mother moved us to Philadelphia, PA  when I was still in elementary school. It was a whole new world seen through the eyes of a dreamer. While in the city of brotherly love, I learned many crafts and skills from baking  to landscaping. It wasn’t until 2010 when my mother’s friend asked me to help her with a retreat she was planning,  I stumbled upon massage therapy. From that first massage I gave, I knew that this is what I was born to do. HEAL.
I believe in the art of body working. We were given all the tools we need within ourselves and the earth to maintain homeostasis within our body, mind, and spirit. I was blessed to have a great mentor and a great massage therapist at Anthem College where I graduated in 2014. From there, I’ve worked at Hand and Stone Spa Moments and other fluff and buff studios.  Until I found Elements where I was able to explore different modalities of deep tissue and use my skills on the medical side of massage. Now I’m happy to call Moyer Total Wellness my home.

Katrina Jenkins – Massage Therapist

Hi!  I’m Katrina!

I’m a licensed massage therapist and though I’ve worked in many patient-centered environments over the years, I have to say that being part of the team at Moyer Total Wellness has been the most rewarding by far!

In 2013, I graduated from Towson University with a Bachelors in Health Science and my initial plan was to continue to work as a nurse’s aide while pursuing a Masters degree in Nursing.  However, before I was finished applying to graduate schools, I realized that I really wasn’t passionate about the nursing profession.  During my experiences at the hospitals and home care agencies, I was regularly providing care to patients who were in the end stages of their lives.  These were patients of all ages, with a wide range of progressing illnesses, and they were all very dear to me.  I never grew the tough shell that the rest of the CNAs and nurses developed and every day was emotionally draining.  I wanted to watch people get well.  I wanted to be a healer.

While on my search for a new career path, I shadowed at a few massage therapy schools in the Denver area and felt right at home when I took a seat at the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado.  I graduated in April 2016 with honors and completed the Touch of Healers Scholarship Program the following summer.

So, what can I do for you?  (Don’t be fooled by how small I am, most of my clients come see me for deep tissue!)

  • Deep tissue
  • Trigger point therapy
  • Myofascial Release
  • Sports Massage / Joint Range of Motion
  • Swedish Massage
  • Neuromuscular Massage
  • Assisted Stretching / Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF)
  • Prenatal Massage
  • Oncology Massage
  • Lymphatic Drainage
  • Pediatric Massage
  • Cupping

I’m always learning new things and I can’t wait to add some new modalities to my list of services!
