Every personal training client begins with a movement assessment to determine your individual movement patterns and identify what areas need to be focused on or corrected. From there, a personalized fitness regimen is constructed to help you reach your fitness goals. Corrective exercises may also be prescribed for any problem areas.

What is Functional Fitness?
Functional fitness is defines as using strength training to improve balance, coordination, force, power, and endurance to enhance someone’s ability to perform activities of daily living. For example, a squat is a functional exercise because it also works the muscles you use to squat down to grab the phone you dropped.

During your first personal training session, an assessment will be performed to determine your current fitness levels and goals. Your second session is going to be focused on putting all of that together in a customized fitness program based on your individual needs.
The nutrition assessment will provide you the proper tools and education to learn how to eat so you can reach your goals while nourishing your body with what it needs.
Very Important: Please discuss the type of service you are expecting when you schedule. This will ensure we match you with the most appropriate personal trainer. Each trainer at Moyer Total Wellness is very experienced, but also very different.
We require a Credit Card on file to schedule a personal training session or any service at MTW. If you need to reschedule, please notify the office at least 24 hours prior to your appointment start time to avoid the Late Cancellation Fee.
