Give the Gift of Ultimate Relaxation

by Dec 13, 2021

While many find the end of December to be the most wonderful time of the year, others (if not most of those who celebrate) find the holidays an incredibly stressful time as well!  All that traveling, cooking, and hanging out with well-intentioned but emotionally draining relatives… It’s a lot.  Let’s just hope that 2021’s holiday season isn’t as rough as 2020’s.

In addition to the delayed flights, extravagant feasts, and that one passive aggressive aunt, there’s yet another common stressor in the days before Christmas: gift shopping.

With all this considered, I can almost guarantee that you, the gift giver, are just as stressed out as the person you’re trying to shop for.  And that’s why the ultimate relaxation massage at Moyer Total Wellness is the ultimate holiday gift!  You’re offering the gift of relaxation, all while taking the stress of shopping off of yourself!

What is The Ultimate Relaxation Massage?

Our Ultimate Relaxation Massage is a 60-90 minute service that spends 30 minutes focused on the most relaxing parts of your body.  Your feet, hands, scalp, and face will receive the most attention during that 30 minute period, and your therapist can incorporate relaxing add-ons to the service if you so wish.

All massage modalities come with health benefits, with the most well-known being pain relief, stress reduction, improved circulation, and sleep promotion; but an extra focus on the more relaxing parts of the body creates a heightened level of peacefulness.  The scalp, face, hands, and feet contain sensitive nerve endings which, when stimulated by therapeutic touch, trigger a surge of feel good chemicals from the brain.  We could all use a serotonin rush around the holidays, for sure.

Relaxing Massage Add-Ons

As previously stated, your therapist can also incorporate relaxation add-ons to the service!  Which of these sounds best to you?

  • Hot stones: Heat therapy is more than just soothing for the mind and body!  It’s also the ideal massage modality for winter time!
  • CBD: Knock out the holiday stress with our cannabidiol-infused lotion.
  • Essential Oils: As long as you don’t have any sensitivities to essential oils, ask your therapist which healing essential oils we have available!  Feel free to bring in your own favorite oils too!

How to Give the Gift

The roads are congested with last-minute shoppers and the stores are just as claustrophobic, so consider purchasing a gift card directly from our website.

Happy Holidays!

Stay warm, happy, and healthy!
